Go McPherson, Hutchinson Community College, and several area manufacturers launched The Go McPherson Industrial Academy, which offers job seekers a manufacturing skills certificate.

Skills taught include:

• Shop Math
• Precision Measurement
• Employability Skills
• OSHA 10 Safety

Participation in this program guarantees an interview with several area employers, and there is also the possibility of internships.
